Thanks Alex, throwing went well in some unideal conditions. As far as the posts go, I assume I am one of the people being mentioned by the anonymous people. It may not, but I feel it probably is. First of all people, just use your names, its no big deal. Secondly, anonymous person number 2, I hope you are seriously not calling out my passion for strongman. When I accepted the date for the Highland Games National event, it was in the winter. At this point, it had been discussed and posted that the strongman would be a two day competition in July. As time went on, the date for strongman was changed and I was out of luck. To call out my passion as I was representing my family, my town and my province is very narrow minded as you do not know my situation. People who know me, know how focused I was on the upcoming strongman season, but because of committments made before, I stuck with them. Thats who I am. Also, please use your real name if you are going to call me out like that. Be a mature adult about it. That is a childish act. Congrats to the competitors this past weekend and I will see some of you on Saturday.

Can't always please everyone, and if you allow people to have a say in picking dates everyone would have a "better weekend" choice. That's just the way things work. If your buddy is so strong and the title is so important to him and wanting to challange the boys for the title then he would have moved hell and earth to get there. So stop your crying it's annoying and childish.
Great job Boys wish I could have been there, caught the clip on tv though

Did I say myself?..no...but there are definately people who weren`t there for the weekend that would have gave a run at the title .....convienent it was this weekend..

Ya ya strongest guy is always in the crowed. and to answer the event slection Danny Sutherland the promoter slected the events, and what do you know he didn;t compete. It is good to get imput from others but you should really know what you are talking about before you talk. I expected this again this year, and it again is funny, If you feel you are strong but refuse to compete than I guess we will never know. Stay strong bud.......5 time lol !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

For an atlantic champ to be "crowned" the strongest men in atlantic canada should be there. Also, people who compete shouldn't be selecting the events.

First day was hard as Fu@$%k the truck pull killed everyone Me Chris and Kalean were very close on the farmers. I was the only one to load all 5 stones.

Chris H looks his best this year, his press is way better and he is a better well rounded athlete.

Day 2 will be frame carry 825lbs, max log press, 900lb car DL, and the med. I love all these events. I will post tomorrow the final results. good luck all.

Events will be lighter than what most of you are probably used to and prizes won't be much, but should be good time, so if you're in st. johns that time or know anyone that might be interested send them along to here for more info or contact me via email:
