thanks for the update grant. sounds like the planning is going well, the high school idea is a good one for the crowd factor. and it eliminates the worry of weather.

    cont....

Meaning I am tried of trying to get things together and woundering where we will hold it ,and the flack that I get when I win. I may still compete, that will depend on the body. I am going to put myself through hell this year and if I hold up I hold up.
Either way there are only a fiew venues left in Atlantic Canada that continue to run comps. I think one of those venues should hold the 2011 Atlantics. There are 2 in NS and 2 in PEI and Jason M has the only date that would work, Alex and Jonathans are to close to CSM and berwick is past. I remember in 2005 I did 17 comps in Atlantic Canada, now look!!!!!

Kept forgetting to put my name in...

Anyway this is what we are thiking as of right now, just so everyone has some Idea of what we are doing.

Supplement King has agreed to Sponsor a part of the show if it is held here wich is great. My Huge Sponsor will be a pat of the show as well. We hope to have 2 days 8-10 events or 1day 7 events. This will be a Tough show in every way possiable. We will be trying to insure that there are no lifts like the Dl the last 2 years, All lifts will be tested by someone other than myself to make sure it doesn't happen again.

There will be at least 4 head to head events.
We are floating the Idea of one of the Days to be in a High School Gym to insure that we have a huge crowd. That would mean all those events would have to be Gym friendly.

This also may all change If We here back from another Promoter that was contacted by us. I did post before that this will be my last year doing this, and it will!!!!

You guys are definitely building a lot of interest and support for strength sports over there. It would be nice to see the Atlantics get the attention it deserves from a big supportive crowd who appreciate what we do.

I agree that it is nice to have the crowd, the screams make it alot more fun for us. Bridge water after all these years still has one of the best crowds. I wish it wasn't so late in the year it would be a good venue. Berwick is another good venue , but again to late in the year. I am working on some deals here for one more year,

We are still not sure yet, I will be talking with Hugo in the new year and see what we wil do. Location is still un sure, the one thing I know is that it is not in Cape Breton this year. I think we will see some new and interesting events though.

A this show is open to pro Athletes because it is a national Qualifier.

The only thing I can say for sure is that there will be
    DL
    Press
    Carry
pull --we are not sure on event selection.
